The Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame Museum Mission Statement and Purpose
•Enhance and celebrate the existing Rhythm & Blues music environment.
•To honor those who have made significant contributions to Rhythm & Blues music.
To be considered for the R&BM-HOF, nominees must have Rhythm & Blues as the primary format or music style, at least a 20-year history of Rhythm & Blues participation, made a historical contribution and had an impact and overall influence on Rhythm & Blues around world, as determined by the The R&BMHOF Committee. Nominees are not required to be a R&BMHOF member.
•All nominations will be accepted.
The Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame Museum Board Members are eligible for nomination.
Nominations can be submitted year round, but only nominations received by October 1st of
the current year will be considered for the upcoming The Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame Museum. These will be considered for that year’s The Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame Museum Induction Ceremony in August. The official nomination form will be available at
